The hotel was located in the region known as Santa Maria Novella. It is within walking distance from the train station. The area is interesting and has a lot of local shops, bars and restaurants. It is also in easy walking distance from all of the major attractions of Florence. So a prefect location. Despite being in a vibrant area the rooms were very quiet and there was no noise for the streets or from adjacent rooms. The hotel is based on Dantes Inferno so you have a choice of a heaven or hell room. Ours was a heaven room so decorated in creams and whites with quirky angel mobiles, wings etc. The rooms are large with a big walk-in shower, separate toilet and wash hand basin and an extra large wash hand basin in the room. Great cosmetics including shampoo, hand wash, shower gel. Lovely quality. Lots of storage space for suitcases and a setter too. The bed was big and very comfortable. Excellent air conditioning. The mini-bar was stocked with beer and water. The first two beers were complimentary and the water bottles were re-stocked for free each day. A great idea when it's hot. The room was serviced every day. The hotel itself has a restaurant, bar area, light bites area, outdoor garden and seating. it also has a gym, spa/sauna, and various rooms where you can escape for a quiet read or drink. Loads of space all clean and cool and quirkily decorated. It never felt crowded. The restaurant did evening meals and was excellent value for money. The food was delicious with amazing taste sensations. Two of the dishes that stood out for me was the first course pasta dish with bottarga and the main course veal. Good sized portions too. There was also an area for light bites available all through the day. It had various flans, salads, filled pastries etc. We used this and the food again was first class. Homemade and very tasty. The buffet breakfast was good too with a huge selection catering for all tastes. The staff were always friendly, helpful and attentive.

Staff were great, so nice. The whole hotel has the theme of Dante's Inferno (very Florentinian) We had to change our room mid-stay (our mistake) and got to experience both the heaven and the hell themed rooms, both were really fun and decorated to the T, but we thought the hell themed one had more of a vibe. I would recommend the hell to anyone on the fence, but it was great to see both. Fantastic breakfast of local products - prosciutto and cheeses and fresh fruits and veg and baked items. Expensive at 24Eu per person, but we easily ate enough to skip a big lunch. We rented bikes at 10Eu a day one day and it was a great way to see some of the further flung attractions, they had already been claimed the next time we wanted one, so get a bike early if you want one.

Welcome to hell! What an incredible stay!!! If you like is Red you have too book the hell category. You get flashed by the Design. But first of all we will left some words for the location. The location is near to the dome (approx. 8 minute walk) and other attractions. Few foodsteps away there is a supermarket and a locker. The last one is very cool during your last day. The room was amazing. Lovely Design and every detail was perfect. During your stay you will find a big bag in your room. You can use it during your Trip and leave the bag on your last day. The room is quite and you will sleep very well. For us is clear: we will just book this hotel for our next florence trip. And next time we will explore the spa area too :)

This hotel was a surprise for all the right reasons. When you enter the car-park you are greeted with the sign - ‘Welcome to Hell’ but in reality you are entering a little bit of heaven. The atrium is exceptional, the rooms quirky, interesting and comfortable and, as it matters these days, the WI-FI is truly fast allowing streaming to your devices or from your devices to the in-room tv. Breakfast was great and from a location point of view you are literally a 7-minute walk from the centre of Florence and all the major visitor sights. We drove to this hotel and finding it in the centre of Florence was simple enough thanks to sat-nav and the hotel takes care of any low-emission zone tax.

The modern, cool aesthetic felt very western which we appreciated! This hotel and our room have been our favorite so far on our travels through Italy. Things in the mini bar were also complimentary which was great! We were hoping they’d restock it each day :) The layout of the room was perfect, with a separated shower and toilet and then another sink with vanity in the middle. The sandwich shop and restaurant on the ground floor were also convenient when we wanted to sleep through breakfast and grab a quick bite. There is also a Pam store at the end of the block which was so convenient for drinks and snacks. Overall, loved our stay here!
